01_DESCRIPTION

This is the first course in statistics. It focuses on summarizing and presenting data with tables and graphs; calculating measures of center, location, and dispersion; applying probability rules and discrete and continuous probability distributions; and understanding sampling distributions and population-parameter estimation. Spreadsheet tools such as Excel are used where possible for real-world problem solving.
