Account & Progress Data

• When you submit a course bank transfer, we store your verified account email, full name, phone number, user ID, receipt image, purchase amount, review status and timestamps in Firebase. The course administrator uses these to verify payment; they are not shared with other students. Session replay is excluded from checkout and receipt-review pages. Please crop unrelated transactions from your receipt image.
• Optional account features may store profile details such as username, display name, avatar choice, bio, social links, selected courses, and privacy preference.
• Progress tracking may store completed page URLs, course progress, timestamps, and related dashboard statistics so your academic tracker can stay synced across sessions.
• Bookmark and notes features may store saved page links and personal study notes when you choose to use those tools.
• Community profile pages may show your public profile and progress summaries only when your privacy setting allows it; private progress remains hidden from other visitors.
• Theme, language, and interface preferences may be saved locally in your browser. Authentication and database features are handled through Firebase services.
• We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the site and to improve navigation, performance, and usability. This may include page views, clicks, scrolling, and session recordings; input fields and account/community routes are masked.
• Microsoft Clarity is currently configured without cookies, so session recordings and journeys across pages may be limited. Microsoft processes Clarity data under its own terms and privacy statement.
• External links such as GitHub, LinkedIn, email, and Blueprint Studio follow their own privacy practices once you leave SHOUG.TECH.
