Web exploitation fundamentals
How web applications work, how vulnerabilities are discovered, and how to investigate insecure behavior in modern web architectures.
Applied cryptography
Recognizing, analyzing and breaking the forms of encoded and encrypted information used to secure data.
Digital artifacts
Inspecting files, hidden metadata, network packets and the other evidence left behind on systems.
Intelligence gathering
Gathering, analyzing and connecting publicly available information to profile targets and uncover secrets.
Operator requirements
- A personal laptop able to run modern browsers and, if required, virtualization software
- Power adapter or charger — outlets are provided on site
- An updated modern browser; Firefox or Chrome recommended
- Any workshop-specific software or virtual machines, announced beforehand
- Network access credentials are provided on site
