Report Focus

Prepared by Shoug Fawaz Abdullah Alomran and Layan Abdulaziz Alnasser for ETHC 303 Computer Ethics, this report studies how Artificial Intelligence and Expert Systems affect healthcare, education, finance, manufacturing, and cybersecurity through ethical, societal, and sustainability lenses.

Ethics

Examines fairness, privacy, accountability, biased data, human oversight, and responsible governance using sources such as WHO, NIST, UNESCO, Stanford HAI, and recent research.

Society

Connects AI adoption to job change, access gaps, inequality, and the need for workers and communities to benefit from AI instead of being displaced by it.

Sustainability

Reviews the energy cost of large AI systems while also recognizing AI's potential to reduce emissions and support more efficient decision-making.
